As a Senior Java Developer, you use the latest technologies, like AWS and Microservices, to develop cutting-edge solutions and services for our customers. The purpose is to help them stay ahead and offer attractive and relevant services – now and in the future. Together with your team you are responsible for the entire lifecycle of a service – from requirements, development, test, deploy, maintenance to continuous improvements and new innovations.

The team is comprised of 6 developers, Scrum Master, PO and Business Analyst.
The team is building a complicated interface connecting two different, complex backends.
They work exclusively on AWS using microservices, and main language used in Python and Java.
Most Team members are new to Python, so we really need someone who would be able to coach, educate and support other team members in Python.
The team is comprised of many nationalities, therefore working in a multicultural setting experience is very important. The team operates with a strong DevOps mindset.
The team uses XP techniques, pair and mob programming daily, practices code reviews.
The product the Team is building is not in Production yet, so currently there is no support rotation.
The team will grow in the future and will possibly become 2 teams, after the product goes live, the person we are looking for must be able to transfer knowledge and coach effectively.
