Job Description:

As a C++ Developer (Automotive), you will work in a team responsible for designing and creating secure systems to protect against unauthorized use of the vehicle. The team owns, designs, and develops functions to prevent illegal starts and driving away of the vehicle. They work on different levels of solutions throughout the entire project lifecycle, from function concept to end-to-end verification. Close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders is essential for every functionality.

As a Software Developer in the Usage Authorization functionality area, you will play an important role by contributing to the development of software that ensures driver authentication for engine nodes, as well as developing software for new legal requirements. 

You will implement software to protect against unauthorized use of the vehicle ensuring it is only drivable with a valid key or device. You will be involved in all stages, from requirement definition to validation and verification. You will be a member of an agile team and manage interfaces with stakeholders both internally and externally.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent documented experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with C++ on Linux/QNX, with a solid understanding of software design
  • Proven hands-on experience in designing and implementing efficient memory management and buffering, parallel processing, inter-process communication as well as time series data processing and management.
  • Well familiar with GIT and Gerrit.
  • Well familiar with JIRA.
  • ECU development experience.
  • ECU development process knowledge.
  • Technical documentation and release process knowledge.
  • Basic ECU signaling knowledge.
  • Basic CAD understanding.
  • General Matlab knowledge.
  • Basic knowledge of software verification in multiple test setup environments.
  • Experience working in a SAFe/Agile team and environment.
  • Previous experience from Automotive or Telecom is meritorious.
  • Experience working with CANoe and CANalyzer is meritorious.
  • Driving license B or equivalent is meritorious.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.
