Job Description:

As a Test Automation Specialist on the AWS Data Platform, you will strengthen our Data Delivery function within the area of Data & Analytics.

In this position, you will play a key role in the success of data product deliveries in the bank. Working in one of our agile Data Delivery teams, you will setup automation test routines for new and existing data integration into our data platform on AWS. You will design and develop automation test features on the new AWS-based Data Platform, as an integral part of our “Data & Analytics” team. You will collaborate closely with Tech Leads, Data Analysts, other Data Engineers, Business Intelligence developers and Product Owners to develop features through the Agile Release Trains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a standardized approach to design, execute and automate data lake and data warehouse tests in AWS
• Create functional test cases, integration test cases and test automation scripts
• Develop and run test scripts using automation infrastructure
• Generate analysis reports for automation test results
• Investigate automation test results together with Data Analysts and developers for failure analysis
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Analysts to automate and extend test coverage on the AWS Data platform

Required Qualifications:

• Expertise in developing automated test suites for Cloud data platforms in a standardized way
• Experience testing multiple test phases in medium to large projects with a clear understanding of datalake, data warehouse, and data mart testing
• Experience in continuous testing practices in a CI/CD development pipeline and deploying test automation
• Experience in writing complex SQL queries
• Experience with Batch and streaming data test automation
• Experience and knowledge of agile frameworks, preferably SAFe
• Experience in the banking industry is an advantage
• You are organized, analytical and have strong time-management skills
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
