Embedded Infotainment Platform Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Embedded/C++ Infotainment Software Engineer to join our Infotainment Platform team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a quality-focused attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain embedded C++ software for automotive infotainment platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Write and maintain unit, component, and integration tests.
  • Participate in vehicle testing, log captures, and log analysis.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development under HIL and SIL.
  • Provide constructive code reviews and support Agile ways of working.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, languages, and technologies, including generative AI.

 

Requirements

  • C++ Proficiency: Strong expertise in C++, particularly for embedded and automotive systems, adhering to modern coding standards.
  • Embedded & Automotive Systems: Experience with QNX, AAOS, AOSP, and build systems like CMake, Makefiles, Bazel.
  • Operating Systems Expertise: Knowledge of Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), POSIX API, multithreading, communication, and synchronization.
  • Android Automotive Development: Experience with Android Automotive platform using C++, AIDL/HIDL; Kotlin and/or Java is a bonus.
  • Software Testing & Automation: Proficiency in Python and testing frameworks such as pytest.
  • CI/CD & DevOps: Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines under HIL and SIL.
  • Automotive Domain Knowledge: Previous professional experience in automotive software development is desirable.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Strong English skills; Swedish is a bonus. Ability to work in a team, take ownership, and deliver high-quality software.
  • Agile Mindset: Open to different Agile processes and able to help the team adapt.
  • Proactive & Adaptive: Driven to take initiative in problem-solving and process improvement, with a continuous learning mindset.
