Job Description

We are looking for a Test Automation Specialist, who will work on the AWS Data Platform to strengthen the Data Delivery function within the Data & Analytics team. This role focuses on the success of data product deliveries in the bank, collaborating closely with Tech Leads, Data Analysts, Data Engineers, Business Intelligence developers and Product Owners to develop features through the Agile Release Trains.

Responsibilities 

• Setup automation test routines for new and existing data integration into the data platform on AWS.
• Design and develop automation test features on the new AWS-based Data Platform.
• Develop a standardized approach to design, execute and automate data lake and Data warehouse tests in AWS.
• Create functional test cases, integration test cases and test automation scripts.
• Develop and run test scripts using automation infrastructure. 
• Generate analysis reports for automation test results.
• Investigate automation test results together with Data Analysts and developers on failure analysis.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Analysts to automate and extend test coverage on AWS Data platform.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in developing automated test suites for Cloud data platforms in a standardized way.
• Experience in testing multiple test phases in medium to large projects and have adequate experience and clear understanding of datalake, data warehouse and data mart testing. 
• Experience in continuous testing practices in a CI/CD development pipeline, and deploying test automation.
• Experience in writing complex SQL queries.
• Experience with Batch and streaming data test automation.
• Experience and knowledge of agile frameworks, preferably SAFe.
• Experience in the banking industry is an advantage.

Soft Skills

• Organized, analytical mindset with strong time-management skills.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
